2025 is coming to a close, and I just wanna say olive you so much.
No really, this year has been monumental in the most magnificent of ways!
So many firsts -
First time traveling to The Keys, and to Miami, and Sonoma, and San Francisco!
First time attending Sonoma International Film Festival and Uncorked Food & Wine Festival, and Detroit's very own, exceptional spectacle, the annual Movement Festival.
Plus I finally dipped my toe into the ever-beloved Michigan Renaissance Festival, and I totally get the hype now. It's magical.
First time(s) dining with Detroit Foundation Hotel's Apparatus Room. Highly recommend!
First time revisiting my alma mater, GVSU, on a day trip to GR. Even got to bring my amazing rescue pup, Frida, along for the adventure.
First time back to NYC since 2012! Many, many moons ago, this was my first move out-of-state upon graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2011. It felt so good to be back in that bodacious Big Apple! It felt just right.
2025 was a year I made moves that felt like dreams - out loud. I am so grateful and so tired, but so ready to see what we can dream up in 2026.
