Today I did something crazy. I stepped on the scale at the gym. On my own. For myself.

I've lost 10 pounds since I last stepped on earlier this year. I have not dieted. I have not changed my habits or attempted to lose weight. I only made one new lifestyle choice - I quit drinking.
Today I am also all types of ANTSY as I'm about to film my final Youtube video - completing the once-monthly challenge I first set back in January of this year. WOW. Here we are. It feels so good to feel the potency of this moment. To feel it all. To feel at all. This is the result of parting ways with alcohol. This is what comes when you put the drink down. This is my favorite part of sobriety.

I'm here to help and to encourage your Dry Jan as I let go of alcohol earlier this year. It was August on Friday the 13th when I had my last drink. I woke up on the 14th, not a clue what had happened. I just knew whatever did would never happen again.
Much like Dry Jan, a lot of sober-curious people practice Sober October. I did not know much about either of these designated no-drinking months to be candid, other than randomly hearing them mentioned occasionally prior to my own decision to part ways with alcohol.
